I’ve been working on my new domain all day. Almost all day, at least. I got up at noon, then took a shower and did some laundery first. The domain isn’t really paid yet, so it’s not ready to use at all, but I’ve made most of the documents and sort of finished my header code and the stylesheet. The layout header is also finished, so is the footer, amongst other things. I’ve tried using tables, but I don’t know if it’s working the way I want it to work, becuase the internet didn’t work while I was working, and all the links are connected to the domain (which doesn’t really excist yet), so it’s hard to get a preview of it all. If I had a program like frontpage og dreamweaver I could see the result right away, but no. I use the super-pro’ WordPad program.

Yesterday morning I took the bus the Stromstad (in Sweden), and the ferry to Koster (also in Sweden, but originally Norwegian) to meet mum and dad, who were there vacationing with our boat. I stayed there only one night and we went home yesterday. In Stromstad I bought Diddl notepads, and you may raise and eyebrow or two about this and say “is she eighteen or eight?! “, but I’ve ‘collected’ Diddl notepads since I was young(er), and I love notepads and post-its in general. And you have to admit (yes, you do), they are kinda cute. Go Diddl notepads! I also bought/got a floral top, two cups, photo paper, a new wallet, a multicoloured notepad, a notebook and some candy.

Today I was supposed to go the post office and collect a package, but I think it’s closed now. I wouldn’t bother to go there now anyway, I’m lazy.

Go check out the visitor-section; I’ve added patterns and smilies. I’ve also added new smilies to my fanupdate, a slightly new look for the blog, eh . Aren’t they cute? I have a thing for cute smilies, hehe.

Everything ‘new’ is stuff I made years ago, I’ll try to make some new-new patterns and smilies soon. I’m also working on tutorials—these are old too, but I’m revamping some of them up with new pictures and rewriting them etc. New brushes are also on the way, I’ve “drawed” them and scanned them, I just have to fix them and stuff. But they’re coming.

Yesterday I kind of accidently bought a domain. Well, not accidently, I had been planning on buying one for some time now, but buying it yesterday wasn’t really part of the plan. I just clicked next and filled out the steps to see how the order-thingy worked. And ‘bam’, I got a domain. The domain is… okay, fine, I’m pleased with it. The best I could come up with, at least. But that was sort of why I was planning on waiting a little—to think the domain name more through.

Oh, well. The domain won’t be up for a while, because I chose to pay in probably the most complicated way. But I think maybe it’s possible to pay easy after all, I just have to get my new student card.

I suck at this. Sorry. BUT, to my defence, I have been quite busy with vacationing. I went to the Slottsfjell festival, which was great, I saw Haakan Hellstrom, the Streets (he crowdsurfed all the way up to the control tower, I got to touch him, yay!), Bob Hund (I hadn’t listened to any of his music on beforehand, but he was awesome and made a great show), Art Brut (hadn’t listened to them before either, but they were cool and funny), Kaiser Chiefs (!!! ), The Wombats (they only played for like… half an hour, and we were late, so we only got to see one or two songs), Marit Larsen, Turboneger, Skambankt and Katzenjammer.

Right after Slottsfjell (right after, I was only at home for less than an hour to pack) I went to “band camp”, which was really fun. At times it was a bit boring and exhausting to, but never mind. I got tickled a lot, and carried on this guys shoulder, haha, my face got all red and they teased me. I tend to get red in my face easily, sometimes just red spots because I scratched me or something (sensitive skin— gaaaah). My lips got all sore and tired (DON’T GET THIS WRONG ) because of all the blowing—I play Alt Horn, which looks like a small tuba.

Right after that again (although I did get to stay a whole night at home) we visited our familiy in Bronnoysund which is a 14 hours drive. And one of our cats got sick during the last couple of hours. Poor kitty . We stayed there until this friday, when we drove home (yes, she got sick at first, but after the first hour she was all right).

Over to some really happy news; yesterday I finally turned 18!!! I went to Friday’s with my sister to buy my first legal ( ) beer, and the lady didn’t even ask for my ID! Bit of a downer on one hand, pretty nice on the other. Later on my whole family went to eat at Hard Rock Cafe, where I ate this really yummy salad with fried chicken and nacho sticks (at least that was what they looked like) . After that we went to have cake and coffee at my grandparents.

What do you think? To much colour in the css? Is the navigation hard to find? Sidebar and main content too close? Is it ugly? It’s not 100% finished yet, some minor editing left, but it’s pretty much done.

As you can see I’ve added a ‘visitor’ section with currently only brushes in it. 19 brush sets so far, and I’ve bought some charcoal pieces, so look forward to more. I’m also planning on adding icons, patterns, textures, smilies, maybe some stocks and wallpapers.

Lifewise: today I went to the movies, again, it’s the third time in almost a week! I watched 17 Again. I’ve already seen it, but we were going to the movies with our little cousin—she lives far, far away in a place without great cinema options, so we were being nice to her, and she wanted to see it. It was that or Hannah Montana. Besides, that film is quite entertaining. I’ve never been a huge fan of Zac Ephron (more like the oposite ), but I gotta hand it to him; it’s funny. Very amusing indeed, you should definitively see it!

The summer vacation has begun, yay! I went to the Hove festival, which was amazing, loved it! I had so much fun, and the music was awesome. I saw the Killers, for crying out loud! Also; Franz Ferdinand, the Ting Tings, White Lies, Lykke Li, the Gaslight Anthem, Hockey, M Ward, Q-Tip and loads more. Next up is the Slottsfjell festival!

Today I slept in, I didn’t get up until 1.30 am! Which is really late, especially compared to how ‘early’ I’ve been getting up previously this summer. Not super-early, but early enough seeing as it is summer vacation. I’ve watched episode 3 and 4 of Weeds, season 5, and going to watch the 5^th episode asap. Just some more website-businuess to catch up on beforehand.

Sitewise: I’m thinking about adding some photos in the me-section, and add some content for visitors, but I’m not sure what. I’ll look around at sites, hope for some inspiration and ideas. Maybe I should add something like a portfolio? Idk…
